Caring Friends

Hawthorn Community Centre

Bereavement support group

A friendship group supporting adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

We know from experience that loneliness can be one of the most difficult aspects of bereavement, divorce or separation. Talking with people who have experienced something similar is often very helpful in coping.

Caring Friends is a self-run program that provides a friendly environment sharing morning tea, activities and entertainment. Please give us a call, as we are happy to respond to your questions. Sometimes it can be daunting to join a group for the first time, so we are happy to arrange for one of our members to meet you and to accompany you for your first meeting.

New members are always welcome!

'We care' is our motto.
