Dentures

Our in-house denturist can make your dentures for you in just a few visits.

We can also fabricate implant retained dentures and bridges.

These prosthesis have significantly higher retention and can therefore restore your chewing function to a much greater extent as opposed to conventional dentures.

Hygienists and bleaching

Encounter Bay Dental has a strong focus on preventative dentistry.

Research has shown a connection between oral and systemic diseases like Heart Disease, Arthritis and Dementia.

Our hygienists can help maintain your oral health with regular cleans and examinations.

Hygienists also treat patients who are interested in getting their teeth bleached.

Our hygienist is trained in diagnosing the cause of discolouration and prescribing the most effective dental bleaching regime. We carry out in-house and take home bleaching at Encounter Bay Dental.

Children's Dentistry

At Encounter Bay Dental we believe that it is important for your child to have a positive experience at the dentist.

This is integral in shaping their future dental health as they grow up to become adults.

Under the government’s new CDBS scheme, children from eligible families can get up to $1000 worth of basic dentistry free of charge at Encounter Bay Dental.

For families with certain levels of Bupa cover, kids may be eligible for gap free dentistry up to the age of 25.

Children of families with eligible HCF and CBHS health cover will get all preventative services at no out-of-pocket cost

Implant Dentistry

At Encounter Bay Dental we have  dentists with postgraduate qualifications in placement and restoration of dental implants.

These dental implants are used to replace missing teeth or to stabilise dentures.

Technology

We have an in-house OPG machine for all your diagnostic X-ray needs.

We also house the Fleurieu’s first CEREC machine.

You can now have stronger fillings and crowns made while you wait in one single visit.

With this technology fillings are less likely to break down or fall out.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a clear alternative to braces.

We take impressions of your teeth, following which the Invisalign team in America formulates a 3D plan for how your teeth can be brought into perfect alignment.

They then fabricate a series of clear aligners, each of which is worn by the patient for 14 days.

Over the course of the treatment these aligners move your teeth to give you a perfect smile.

This type of treatment can be paid for using our interest-free payment plans.
