Welcome to the Encounter Bay Family History Group.
We are a self-help group: our purpose is to help each other discover our family histories, share research experiences, and provide a service to members of the public.
Members of the group collectively have wide ranging skills and experience in delving into family history.
We hold free help sessions every Monday from 1 - 3 pm at the Victor Harbor library where the community can use the services of our volunteer researchers to find out about their family history. We also have free bi monthly workshops at the library on genealogy related topics.
Meeting dates for members
Meetings are held at 10 am–12 noon on the second Thursday of the month, February to November in the Victor Harbor Library. In the second hour the Group has exclusive access to computers and research help from other members. New members welcome.
