Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (it is closed for two days only in mid October when the Port Elliot Show is on).
Opened in mid 2013, development of the Dog Park continues thanks to local support, generosity and the dedication of visitors and community groups.
What facilities are on site?

- A well fenced dog park.
- Two separate dog exercise areas.
- Bench seating and a notice board.
- Dog tidy bag dispensers.
- Young trees in tree guard.
- A rubbish bin located at the dog park entrance.
- Walking paths through the dog park.
- A couple of ‘dog friendly’ tunnels.
- Other interesting historical features on the Waterport Heritage Reserve for you to visit.
- Young trees do not currently offer any shelter.
- No water in the dog park - at this stage.
