South Australia Police advises that it is currently experiencing technical difficulties receiving calls to the Police Assistance Line (131 444).  At this stage, the issue appears to be isolated to callers using the Vodafone mobile network.

The matter is under urgent investigation, and SA Police is working with its partners to restore normal service as quickly as possible.

Members of the community in South Australia who are unable to reach 131 444 are asked to:

Use a landline or a mobile device on another network where possible; or

In an emergency, always call Triple Zero (000).

This issue does not affect calls to Triple Zero (000), which continues to operate normally.
