Death and dying remain a taboo subject for many people because they can be difficult to talk about.
Palliative Care Australia and Southern Vales Compassionate Communities will hold ‘Life and Death conversations’ in two Death Cafés sessions, to help break down the stigma.
There they will offer lovely food, coffee and tea, as well as supportive and inclusive conversations around all things death and dying.
A small group of up to 25 people will gather in an inclusive and safe space for a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes.
The aim is to increase awareness, and to break down the invisible barriers to talking about life and death, dying and loss.
More information is available on the website. www.deathcafe.com
