The Great Duck Race is on again in Strathalbyn Soldiers Memorial Gardens on Sunday 1 December.

Strathalbyn Rotary’s annual fundraiser takes place from 10.30am to 2.30pm and includes five races with $2,000 in total prize money.

The great final event will see 2500 ducks floating down the river for a shot at first place.

There will also by the Corporate Duck Race with more than 70 corporate ducks fighting for the honour of winner and bragging rights.

This free family event will feature the CWA Christmas Market and food stalls, as well as the Rotary raffle draw.

Businesses will also vie for the Best Dressed Duck trophy.

Steam Ranger will run its special Duck Train from Mount Barker to Strathalbyn for the event. Book online.
