With 25 December falling on a Monday this year, the weekend offers a final chance to shop for Christmas treats.

Markets across the region will bustle with activity as shoppers grab their last minute gifts and goodies.

Myponga Market will hold a special twilight Common Grounds market tonight, Friday 22 December, from 4.30pm to 9pm.

Located on Main South Road, it will feature local artisans, live music and a locally-stocked bar.

The Victor Harbor Farmer’s Market will be open as usual in Grosvenor Gardens from 8am to 12.30pm on Saturday 23 December.

It will offer face painting for the kids, as well as its usual fresh fruit and vegetables, gourmet treats, coffee and live music.

Also on Saturday 23 December, Willunga’s three markets are easily accessible via the free market loop community bus.

It travels between the Willunga Farmers’ Market at the high school, the Town Square Market and the organic Greenlight Market at Willunga Recreation Park.

Victor Harbor Beachside Market will offer a special extra date on Christmas Eve, 24 December, from 9am to 3pm on the Esplanade.

The final Cittaslow Goolwa Produce and Artisan Market for the year will also be held this Sunday, 24 December, at Jaralde Park, with live music, barista style coffee, fresh produce and artisan wares.
