This week sees publication of the first issue of Coast Lines for 2024 and the first issue under the aegis of the Fleurieu app.
Retiring after almost 13 years at the helm of the community magazine, Ashley and Jenny Porter have passed the baton to Susie Williams and her team.
“Coast Lines is the perfect complement for what we do at the Fleurieu app, supporting our local businesses, connecting our community and keeping people informed,” Susie Williams says.
“It gives us the opportunity to take a deeper dive into our region, giving time and space to the interesting, quirky and really special individuals and groups who contribute so much to the community.
“With new people involved the popular magazine will have a slightly different look and feel, but will offer the same heartfelt commitment to the region and the people who live, work and play here.”
Susie says she is proud and excited to launch her vision for Coast Lines.
“I’d like to pay tribute to Ashley and Jenny Porter and thank them for trusting me with this fabulous asset to the Fleurieu that they have built over so many years.
“Their guiding influence will be appreciated by me and my team as we take Coast Lines into a new era.”
Coast Lines is distributed to more than 120 places – local shops, businesses, tourism centres and advertisers – across the Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island - for free.
The latest issue is now available, both in print and online.
