Adelaide Film Festival shows in Victor

The Adelaide Film Festival and the Southern Fleurieu Film Society will present a special screening at The Victa Cinema on Monday 29 November.

Heather Croall’s documentary 'Yer Old Faither’ will screen at 6.30pm to celebrate the Southern Fleurieu Film Society’s 2022 program launch and its new partnership with the Victa Cinema.

Adelaide Fringe director and a noted documentary identity, Heather Croall’s film is an intimate portrait of her Glaswegian father, Dr John Croall.

Looking for eternal sunshine, he moves his young family to Whyalla during the 1960s, going on to deliver three generations of the town’s babies.

He was a ratbag, ardent and humorous letter writer and environmentalist.

The film will be followed by a Q&A with Heather at the cinema, in Ocean Street Victor Harbor.

Tickets are free but limited, book online to reserve a seat.
