After a three week hiatus, competition resumes in the Alexandra & Eastern Hills Cricket Association (AEHCA) this Saturday with round 11 throwing up some intriguing match-ups. The 'Match of the Round' sees reigning premier Langhorne Creek hosting the much improved Lobethal in a battle of the Tigers. Langhorne Creek will be buoyed by their Twenty20 title victory last Saturday and they currently sit in third spot on the AEHCA ladder. Lobethal had a slow start to their 2019/20 campaign, not registering their first victory until round five, but have been undefeated ever since to sit inside the top four. It’s a tough one to pick but I’ll go for the home side, Langhorne Creek.
In other games, second placed Hahndorf host Mount Barker, Woodside will hope to move back into the top four as they take on Wistow at home while Strathalbyn will be looking to consolidate top spot as they host Bremer-Callington. Nairne will have to cool their heels for another week as they have the bye.
Premiership Table (After Round 10)
Strathalbyn 32
Hahndorf 30
Langhorne Creek 24
Lobethal 22
------------------------------
Woodside 18
Nairne 18
Bremer-Callington 8
Mount Barker 8
Wistow 0
