Fleurieu Ag FEST returns to the Yankalilla Showgrounds on Monday 18 March, following last year’s successful inaugural event.

Food critic, author and presenter Matthew Evans, known as The Gourmet Farmer, will be a special guest at the field day and careers expo.

The free event is open to anyone interested in agriculture, primary production, conservation and land management in the district and beyond.

It will showcase cutting-edge ideas and technology in the field and promote diverse career pathways in ag and related industries.

Students can find inspiration and connections for careers, work experience, research projects, and subject choices.

There will be an exhibition of local and regional produce, with food vendors on-site.

From composting to climate, masterclasses, demonstrations and workshops will provide practical advice and information on all things agricultural.
