Southern Vales Voice Treaty Truth will hold a referendum forum on Wednesday 4 October at the Aldinga Football Club.

On October 14 Australians must vote Yes or No in the referendum on an Indigenous Voice to Parliament.

The forum will discuss the issues involved and try to clarify matters for those who are still undecided on how to vote.

Three locals will lead the discussion on the vote to enshrine an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice in the nation’s Constitution.

Ngarrindjeri woman Melissa Clarke is signatory to the Uluru Statement From the Heart.

Nukunu man Dr Jared Thomas is an author and research fellow.

Megan Hender is a constitutional lawyer and consultant.

Wayne Anthoney OAM, actor, theatre director and teacher, will be the master of ceremonies

The forum will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the Sharks Bar and Bistro. Bookings are essential and can be made online.
