The pandemic has left many people feeling isolated, particularly those no longer in the paid work force.

The Aldinga Community Centre and Every Generation Onkaparinga will be tackling this problem by bringing people together on Monday with the free Boomer Bus Tour.

The tour will include visits to the Aldinga Bowling Centre for tea, coffee and nibbles and bowling activities. There will also be a free lunch at the community centre and a guided walk along the Sellicks Beach Esplanade.

All abilities are welcome

The tour will take place on Monday 23 May from 9am to 2pm.

The Aldinga Community Centre also hosts art and pottery classes, fibre art, woodworking, playgroups, gardening and shared meals and morning teas.

They are also now operating a fruit and veggie cart. All items on the cart are only one or two dollars and all money raised supports the community garden.

The centre is located at 7 Stewart Avenue in Aldinga Beach.
