The Alexandra & Eastern Hills Cricket Association (AEHCA) ‘A’ grade competition gets underway tomorrow with eight teams chasing premiership glory. There will be 18 games in the minor round with the games being 45-over one-day contests.
Lobethal will be looking for a third consecutive ‘A’ grade flag and will start the season hosting Nairne. The Tigers will be the team to beat again in 2023/24 and have added to their playing stocks with the recruitment of former junior Jeremy Hackett, who has come across from East Torrens. In other round one games, Woodside host Strathalbyn, last season's runner up Langhorne Creek will battle it out with Bremer/Callington, while Macclesfield take on Hahndorf.
