The 2020 Alexandrina Heritage Awards will be held at the Clayton Bay Community Hall on 22 October.

The free event will celebrate award winners and commendations across five unique categories.

The Alexandrina Council Heritage Awards is an annual event dedicated to acknowledging the contributions and achievements in heritage and history related projects across the region. 

The awards will feature guest speaker Eric Heapy, the former CEO of the National Trust. 

The award categories are: Streetscape Contribution; Building Restoration and Conservation Practice; Adaptive Re-use of Heritage Buildings; and Historic Research and Heritage Tourism. 

The community is invited to go along and celebrate the amazing efforts of individuals and groups who have done extraordinary work in preserving and enhancing South Australia’s unique and iconic heritage.
