Mark Koen from Restored Connection will facilitate a free session just for dads at the Yankalilla Showgrounds Shed on Wednesday 12 Match.

He says men aren't always great at reaching out for support and talking about the stuff that really matters.

The Wednesday evening gathering offers an opportunity to talk about all things dad, with men encouraged to bring their stories, challenges and tips on how to navigate being a dad. 

It will be a relaxed evening with the chance to connect with other dads, share experiences and gain insights into supporting children - all while enjoying a barbecue and a chat.

The session is part of a series of parenting workshops scheduled across the district in 2025, with funding from the Local Drug Action Team and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation.
