The operators of the South Coast's historic Cockle Train have cancelled all services for Monday, January 11.
SteamRanger Heritage Railway says that as the forecast temperature for Victor Harbor is 35 degrees, all Cockle Train services are cancelled "in accordance with SteamRanger's policies".
The CFS has also implemented a Total Fire Ban for both the Mount Lofty Region and Kangaroo Island for Monday, with a fire danger rating of severe.
The South Coast has been extremely busy over the weekend with tourists flocking to local beaches to make the most of the hot weather.
As dawn broke on Sunday morning the queue to get to the Encounter Bay Boat Ramp already tailed back all the way to Ramanjeri Avenue.
Boaties were also having to wait up to an hour to get back off the water when returning from their fishing trips.
