The Strath Neighbourhood Centre will host a visit from the first car to travel right around Australia, on Wednesday 7 May.
The event is part of the centenary celebration of the journey, which took place in 1925.
Adventurers Nevill Westwood and Greg Davies made the intrepid trip in a Citroen 5CV named Bubsie.
‘The Incredible Journey’ is being recreated to commemorate their achievement, retracing their path in a similar car and sharing their amazing story with the communities along the way.
The Strathalbyn visit will include a car viewing at the Neighbourhood Centre from 5pm, followed by a dinner and talk at 6pm
