Southern Deadly Yarns returns to Onkaparinga Libraries this week, for its series of online author talks.


Dr Anita Heiss will host a Zoom discussion on Wednesday 19 May from 6.30 to 7.30pm.


Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Inc. and Onkaparinga Libraries are proud to showcase First Nations authors in season two of Southern Deadly Yarns.


From sports stars to political experts and fresh literary faces, the series will examine topics including truth telling, recognition, and a what makes a good yarn.


Celebrated Wiradjuri author Dr Anita Heiss returns to discuss her new book, Bila Yarrudhanggalangdhuray (River of Dreams)


Set on timeless Wiradjuri country, where the life-giving waters of the rivers can make or break dreams, and based on devastating true events, this is an epic story of love, loss and belonging.
