Annual art show gears up

Warland Reserve will be abuzz with activity this week as set-up begins for the 42nd Victor Harbor Art Show.

After a ticketed preview event on 8 January the art show will be open to the public from Saturday 9 January to Saturday 16 January, between 9.30am and 8.30pm.

The award winning Victor Harbor Art Show is Australia’s largest outdoor art exhibition with over 1,400 paintings on display over nine days.

South Australian artist and art educator Rod Bax will judge this year’s show.

Entry costs $8 for adults, wit children under 16 years of age free.

The Art Show enables Rotary Victor Harbor to raise funds for many local community projects, to humanitarian projects overseas and to Australian Rotary Health, a Rotary initiative providing grants, scholarships and research into a wide range of medical conditions and mental health for Australians.

Find out more about the Art Show and see the preview gallery on the website.
