Sellicks Country Fire Service will hold its annual bottle drive on Sunday 7 January.

The Brigade has been serving and protecting the local community for almost 55 years.

Every year its dedicated members get together to raise vital funds via the Sellicks CFS Annual Bottle Drive.

Over time it has become a Sellicks Beach new year tradition for the local community to donate their festive session recyclable bottles and cans on the first Sunday after New Years' Day.

An all-day event, the bottle drive will run from 9am to 5pm out of the station on Fontaine Drive.

Anyone with bottles or cans to contribute can drop them off at the station, or if that is not possible, call 8556 3951 to arrange a pickup.

Cash donations will also be gratefully accepted. All funds raised go towards equipment, training and support of CFS volunteers.
