SteamRanger Cockle Train services are operating as scheduled today, Thursday 11 January following a crash in Goolwa last night.
SA Police say a white SUV collided with the train at a level crossing on Skewes Road at about 4.15pm on Wednesday 10 January.
No injuries have been reported, but the driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precaution, according to SAPOL.
This is the second incident this week for the south coast tourist attraction.
An elderly US tourist died when he was hit by the train on January 4 at McCracken.
SteamRanger has urged everyone in the community to stop, look, listen and think when they are near any and all railway lines.
“Our Volunteers give up their spare time to keep our South Australian Railway Heritage operating for future generations to experience. They do this out of passion and enjoyment.
“The repercussions of any incident involving a train can have long lasting traumatic and physical effects. At the end of the day, we all want to go home safe and well to our families.
“Rail Safety is Everyone's Responsibility.”
It has been a rough year for the popular south coast attraction, with services temporarily suspended following a crash and derailment at Middleton on 14 June and a train derailment in Port Elliot on 21 May that damaged the track.
