A man has been arrested following a break-in and theft at an Ambulance building in the southern suburbs yesterday.
Between 1.45am and 3am on Thursday 17 October, a southern suburbs Ambulance station under construction was broken into significant damage was caused and a large amount of copper piping, tools, fire blankets and other property was stolen from inside.
Police from Southern District conducted extensive enquiries and identified a suspect vehicle and two suspects.
Following an investigation, two residential properties were searched, and police located cannabis and property suspected to have been stolen.
A 57-year-old man from Aldinga Beach was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, cultivation of cannabis and possessing prescribed equipment.
