A teenager has been arrested after allegedly causing harm to an animal.
Police will allege that several months ago, a 14-year-old boy from Old Noarlunga was filmed on a social media app harming a small dog.
Concerns were held for the dog’s wellbeing but police have since confirmed that the dog is alive.
After the videos were shown to police, detectives arrested the boy and charged him with ill-treatment of an animal.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court today, Monday 28 November.
