Aldinga library will host an author talk with best-selling historical fiction writer Darry Fraser next Monday 16 January.
She will discuss her recently released book, The Forthright Woman, set on a sheep station at the gateway to the Flinders Ranges.
It contrasts the fate of two women, six decades apart, widowed Marcella in 1898 and childless Frances in 1955.
Both women find they need to unlock secrets in the past to find their own futures.
The book is published by Harper Collins Australia and a sneak peek can be found on Darry Fraser’s website.
Dymocks Glenelg will provide copies of Darry's book at the event available for purchase and signing.
The free in conversation event will take place from 2pm to 3.30pm. Book a place via Eventbrite.
