The South Coast Environment Centre will host a series of beach clean-up sessions over the summer to help keep our coastline tidy.
The first session is at Chiton Rocks on Wednesday 11 December; meet at the Surf Lifesaving Club car park at 8.30am.
The second session is at Bridge Point, Victor Harbor, on Thursday 19 December.
The clean-up team takes a break for Christmas then it’s back into action at Encounter Bay on Thursday 9 January; meet at the Yilki Store.
The final session will be held at Middleton on Thursday 23 January; meet at the Chapman Road car park.
All clean-up sessions will go for around an hour from 8.30am; rubbish bags will be supplied but coastal warriors should wear gloves for safety.
Contact the South Coast Environment Centre on 8552 9423 for more information and to register interest in joining the beach clean-up.
