The City of Onkaparinga is looking for residents who want to become community leaders.

The council is offering residents the chance to take part in a free, five-month Leadership Onkaparinga Program that offers an, “immersive and inspiring experience” that includes tours, site visits, retreats and the opportunity to work with facilitators.

This year's theme is 'Your Community Leadership Footprint' and participants will be encouraged to develop or collaborate on community development initiatives that benefit their region.

The program will run from June to October with 12 daytime sessions in locations across the City of Onkaparinga. Transport will be made available to those who need it.
