With summer heat finally kicking in many thoughts turn to a cold brew and the Fleurieu Beer festival will offer many local options next weekend.

The Willunga Recreation Park will host the annual event on Saturday 22 January, featuring the finest Fleurieu craft breweries as well as entertainment, live music and food.

From 2pm to 10pm patrons can meet the brewers, sample the brews and browse the market stalls.

The breweries represented include Goodieson, Shifty Lizard, Kick Back, Ogre, Snapper Point, Swell, Mephisto and South Coast.

There will be tables and chairs available under the trees as well as marquees on the oval, but all are welcome to take their own picnic blankets and chairs.

It is a licenced, non-smoking event with COVID restrictions and no special children’s activities.
