This week, RSPCA South Australia is shining a light on one of its most affectionate feline residents—Benny, an eight-year-old domestic short hair with a heart as big as his purrs.

With his striking white and tabby coat and gentle nature, Benny is the definition of a smoochy senior. He adores nothing more than being close to his people—whether it’s basking in a sunny window spot or enjoying a quiet brushing session, Benny’s love language is all about calm connection and cozy companionship.

He’s a true connoisseur of cuddles, known for his sweet ‘biscuit-making’ paws and his appreciation for ear scratches. Benny is currently on a little weight-loss journey, and he’s hoping to find a family who can support him with care, encouragement, and the occasional healthy treat.

This older gentleman would thrive in a quiet and loving home, ideally without young children or too much commotion, where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. With a little patience and a lot of love, Benny is sure to become the most loyal companion.

To help him find the perfect home, Benny’s adoption fee has been reduced to just $45 until Friday, 29 August. Like all RSPCA animals, he comes desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
