The Black Tie & Boardies winter edition fundraiser will be on Saturday 16 July at the Middleton Pioneer Hall.
All proceeds will go to the Fleurieu Community Foundation, raising funds to alleviate homelessness in the southern Fleurieu.
The Flaming Sambucas will headline the event, which starts at 7pm.
The foundations says local homelessness is more of a problem than you think.
A forum hosted by local community groups in March was told that Victor Harbor was the third most difficult place in South Australia to find a rental property.
Up to 100 people attend local open inspections for vacant rental properties.
In recent months community Facebook groups have been flooded with desperate requests from people looking for rentals.
The Fleurieu Community Foundation was established in 2010 with a broad vision to build a stronger and more resilient Fleurieu community through giving and grant making.
They raise money through donations, sponsorship and fundraising with all funds raised in the community staying in the community.
Tickets to the Black Tie & Boardies fundraiser cost $50, which includes dinner, music and the chance to purchase silent auction items.
