The next online author talk in series two of Southern Deadly Yarns will be Blackfulla Bookclub on Monday 7 June.


Blackfulla Bookclub is the online celebration of First Nations storytelling that has amassed over 35 000 followers on Instagram. 


Run by Gumbaynggirr and Barkandji woman Merinda Dutton and Wiradjuri and Wailwan woman Teela Reid, these passionate lawyers and influencers will yarn about literature, culture, and more.


Presented by Neporendi Aboriginal Forum Inc. and Onkaparinga Libraries, Southern Deadly Yarns introduces Australia’s top First Nations authors. 


From sports stars to political experts and fresh literary faces, the yarners examine topics including truth telling, recognition, and a what makes a good yarn.


Blackfulla Bookclub will be online from 6.30 to 7.15pm. Register via Eventbrite.
