The Victor Harbor City Band will perform its annual concerts next Saturday 18 June and Sunday 19 June at the Victor Harbor Recreation Centre.

The band is celebrating its 125 year anniversary in 2022; it is largely self-funded with volunteer members.

The Port Victor Brass Band was formed in August 1897 so tourists could enjoy music on Granite Island during the summer evenings. 

The band has evolved over the last century, with several name changes, but one constant has been its dedication to sharing music with the local community.

It plays regular concerts and community events, with something for all age groups.

The weekend concerts will provide an entertaining afternoon of great brass band music in the Inman Room at the Rec Centre from 2pm on both days.

General admission is $15.00 / Students $10.00, with tickets available at Swan's Pharmacy, from band members or at the door.
