The South Coast Environment Centre will present a workshop on butterflies and how to attract them to the backyard.
It will be held at Carrickalinga House in Victor Harbor on Thursday 3 September from 4pm.
The presentation will also discuss a new propagation nursery planned for the south coast to help grow native plants.
The nursery will assist with butterfly conservation projects to try to bring back species such as the Bitterbush Blue Butterfly to local coastal areas.
Books on the topic will be offered for sale at the workshop.
All ages are welcome but bookings are preferred, as numbers will be capped. Call 8552 9423 or email [email protected] to reserve a place.
The workshop is supported by the Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board.
