A burst water main created a spectacular water feature in Hayborough yesterday, Saturday 13 February, leaving 80 houses without water.

The rupture occurred on Mentone Road, close to the intersection with Port Elliot Road, at around 3pm.

SA Police attended to close the road until the breach could be fixed.

SA Water completed repairs and restored water supply service shortly after midnight. 

A statement on the SA Water website says follow up work may be required at this location.
