Bushfire Watch and Act: Ravine, Kangaroo Island
The CFS has issued a Bushfire Watch and Act message for a fire burning at Playford Highway and West End Highway at Ravine on Kangaroo Island.
The Playford Highway is closed west of Gosse-Ritchie Road and the West End Highway is also closed.
For those people wishing to travel to the Flinders Chase National Park you will need to access the park via South Coast Road.
Several other road closures are in place, which can be identified by council signage so motorists are asked to adhere to these road block signs.
Issued for the two fires at Ravine near the Ravine Des Casoars Wilderness Protection Area on the western end of Kangaroo Island.
Take action now as this bushfire may threaten your safety. If you are not prepared, leave now and if the path is clear, go to a safer place. Do not enter this area as conditions are dangerous.
The Playford Highway/West End Highway, Ravine fire is uncontrolled. This scrub fire is burning in a northerly direction towards Snug Cove. Conditions are continually changing.

Bushfire Advice: Second Valley near Rapid Bay
Issued for Second Valley near Rapid Bay in the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia.
The threat from this fire has reduced, however people are reminded to take care in the area. Smoke will reduce visibility on the roads and there is a risk of trees and branches falling.
