Residents near Paris Creek, near Strathalbyn in the Mount Lofty Ranges, are urged to leave immediately as an uncontrolled bushfire threatens the area. The Country Fire Service (CFS) has upgraded the warning level to Watch and Act – Leave Now, replacing the earlier advice.

The grass fire is burning in a south-easterly direction, moving towards Old Bull Creek Road, Dog Trap Road, and Ashbourne Road. Conditions are changing rapidly, and authorities warn that the fire could pose a serious threat to safety.
