The City of Victor Harbor has launched a Buy Local campaign to help people find out how the local business community is adapting its services in response to COVID-19.
The campaign has started with food businesses first – Victor Eats – and will then move to other service areas.
So if you are looking for takeaway food, jump over to the Buy Local website, click on the 'Victor Eats' button and download the info sheet that outlines local food businesses offering takeaway or delivery services.
To keep up to date with the latest news and offers from local businesses, please follow and LIKE the Buy Local Victor Harbor Facebook page.
There has never been a more important time to support local businesses and help them survive, by buying local.
The Eats button provides a comprehensive listing of cafes and restaurants in Victor Harbor and surrounding areas.
It gives phone numbers and website or Facebook links for those open for takeaways and indicates those geared up to make deliveries.
Sadly, several larger eateries have closed until further notice, including the Anchorage, The Grosvenor Hotel, McCracken Country Club, Eat@Whalers and Café Primo.
As the situation is dynamic and may change very quickly, it is best to contact individual cafes and restaurants to check menus and availability.
