The City of Victor Harbor has put out a call for people interested in hosting an event during the 2024 Winter Whale Fest.

The month-long festival runs throughout June to celebrate the annual migration of whales to the waters of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Events could include beach cleanups, educational talks, seafood feasts or art exhibitions.

The council welcomes all creative idea that educate and entertain the community about whales, the ocean, marine life, and environmental sustainability.

Community groups and businesses are asked to get involved; event registration is free.
