Christmas is rapidly approaching and Alexandrina Council has put out the call for applications to its Community Christmas Event Contributions program.

It has invited community groups to support inclusive Christmas events that will share the festive spirit across the community.

The program aims to create a liveable, green, and connected Alexandrina.

It encourages Christmas events that help communities to thrive by bringing generations together.

They should provide opportunities for community connection at Christmas events and gatherings and supportAlexandrina residents to have an enjoyable festive season by offering inclusive Christmas celebrations that combat social isolation and disadvantage.

The council wants to bring people closer this holiday season by creating events and gatherings that embody the true essence of community spirit and Christmas cheer.
