Police have reported a woman after seizing cannabis from her Kingscote property.

About 1pm on Sunday 2 November, Kangaroo Island police attended a home in Kingscote and conducted a search.

Police located 36 cannabis plants growing in the rear yard, loose cannabis, cannabis seeds, and implements for the consumption of drugs. A flick knife, samurai sword and ammunition were also located.

A 56-year-old woman from Kingscote was reported for cultivating a commercial quantity of cannabis, possessing cannabis, possessing prohibited weapons and possessing ammunition. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
