The Cape Jervis jetty was reopened to the public from early April.
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport closed the jetty in October 2020 to facilitate repair works on Kangaroo Island berthing facilities.
Works including the removal of disused fenders, propping and levelling the deck and bracing a number of piles to maintain their integrity were undertaken on the jetty during this closure.
The department says following an inspection of the ferry berthing structure, the Cape Jervis Jetty was deemed safe to be reopened.
Sealink ferry services were able to maintain their normal schedule of operations during the repair works.
