A man is in hospital after a car crashed in the beer garden of a hotel in Port Noarlunga last night.
About 9.45pm on Saturday 18 February police and emergency services were called to Gawler Street at Port Noarlunga after reports a car collided into a hotel.
A patron at the hotel, a 60-year-old man from Port Noarlunga, was hit by the car and suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was taken by SA Ambulance Service to Flinders Medical Centre, where he is being treated.
The driver, a 46-year-old man from Port Noarlunga, was breath tested and provided a positive result of 0.267 – more than five times the legal limit.
He has been reported for aggravated driving without due care and drink driving and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
The vehicle, a white Mitsubishi Triton, was towed from the scene.
