Police are investigating a late night car fire at Aldinga Beach.

At 11.15pm Monday 3 May, Police and MFS were called to Aquamarine Avenue following reports of vehicles on fire in a driveway.

When patrols arrived they found two vehicles had been set alight, a neighbour managed to extinguish one of the fires prior to MFS arrival.

MFS extinguished the second blaze but the Toyota sedan and a Ford sedan were extensively damaged.

The fire is being treated as suspicious.
