Police are investigating a car fire at Noarlunga Downs.

About 3.46am on Wednesday 7 January, a grey Ford Ranger was parked on the side of Barcelona Road when it has been set alight.

MFS crews extinguished the blaze which caused extensive damage to the vehicle.

The suspect was last seen running north along Barcelona Road.
