Police are investigating an early morning car fire at Port Noarlunga.

Just after 12.30am on Friday 21 March, Police and MFS were called to The Esplanade to reports of an Audi sedan on fire in a driveway.

The blaze spread from the car to the front balcony of the property.

The occupants were home at the time and luckily  evacuated safely before the fire spread.

MFS extinguished the blaze but the Audi was destroyed and there was minor damage caused to the home.

Crime scene investigators have attended at the scene and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
