Careers expo offers a path to the future

The annual Fleurieu Careers Expo will be held at the Victor Harbor Recreation Centre on Wednesday 30 July.

More than 60 training organisations and employers will be on hand to discuss education and career opportunities.

This free event is open to all – students exploring their options and adults considering a new direction.

It will include spotlight sessions on vocational education, training and apprenticeships, with Leanne Hill from Workforce Australia and Cathie Tydemann from the Fleurieu study hub.

Their sessions will explore practical, hands-on career pathways that combine study with real-world experience and will start at 6.20pm and 7pm.

All are welcome to attend to gain career advice and find out the skills and qualifications needed for future pathways.

The event is supported by Business Victor Harbor, the three Fleurieu councils and the public and private secondary schools of the Fleurieu.

The careers expo will run from 6pm to 8pm; register to attend online.
