Victor Harbor’s Newland Uniting Church will host this year’s Christmas Tree Festival and a performance of the choir of St Peter’s Cathedral on Thursday 14 December.
Led by Cathedral director of music Anthony Hunt and organist David Heah, the free performance is a gift to the community from the combined churches of Victor Harbor.
It starts at 7pm, with entry from 6.30pm and will include candles, carols and readings celebrating the story of Christmas.
The annual Christmas Tree Festival will be open to the public from 14 to 17 December 12noon to 4pm on Thursday; 10am to 8pm on Friday; 10am to 5pm on Saturday; and 12noon to 4pm on Sunday.
Entry is by donation to the Fleurieu Cancer Support Foundation and prizes will be awarded for best under 12 tree, most popular tree and best traditional tree.
