A community participation pop-up on the next stages of the Carrickalinga foreshore path has been rescheduled to Friday 2 February.

Forecast wet weather forced the District Council of Yankalilla to cancel the original pop-up meeting, scheduled for Thursday 25 January.

The staged shared path project spans the length of Gold Coast Drive from North Bay Carrickalinga to the Carrickalinga Creek Estuary and connects to Carrickalinga Road via Cec Collins reserve.

It forms part of the Carrickalinga to Normanville Path, a project staged over time, to create approximately 6km of shared-use path between North Bay Carrickalinga and the Normanville Foreshore.

Project staff will be at the Carrickalinga Foreshore, in the car park area on Gold Coast Drive south, next Friday evening from 4pm to 7pm.

The community is invited to drop by to chat about the rollout of Stages 2 and 3 of the path project and share thoughts and ideas.

Anyone who can’t attend but we like to have a say can participate in an online survey or fill out a hard copy at the council office.
