The McLaren Vale wine region will celebrate the best of summer in the Vale with Summer Vines, a nine-day festival of wine and food events from 20 to 29 January.
Music, nature and theatre will be featured in the festival, as well as the region’s fabulous food and wine.
Enjoy a glass in the sun or at twilight and experience the natural landscape and the laid-back coastal lifestyle.
Celebrate the Willunga Stage of the Tour Down Under at Paxton Wines’ after-stage Spritz Party on Saturday 21 January from 3pm to 8pm.
Join the party on the beautiful Landcross Farm lawns and enjoy delicious food and wines, live music from the Jake Daulby Band at the official launch of the brand new Rosé Spritz.
Also on Saturday 21 January is the Wuldi Twilight Cultural Experience at the Gemtree Eco Trail, from 5pm to 7pm.
Join Ngarrindjeri elder, Mark Koolmatrie to walk the Gemtree Eco Trail, a place of natural beauty, sharing the ancient stories of his people and exploring our responsibilities of caring for the land, waters and eco system.
Finish with relaxed conversation, a native food plate and flight of Gemtree biodynamic wine while you take in the natural beauty of the Eco Trail.
On Saturday 28 January Chapel Hill presents The Mystic Dr Drake Series Radio play from 7pm to 9pm.
Local theatre company Radio Noir has recreated a series of one-act radio plays presented by eight actors, joined by a live pianist and a live sound FX team.
The audience will be seated cabaret style, enjoying a dinner theatre feel with food and Chapel Hill wine served to accompany the entertainment.
